The FRESCH ‘Streetart Edition’ 2024 is the summery, lively addition to Weingut Jonas Kiefer’s Streetart range. A sparkling wine made from Goldmuskateller and Scheurebe, in which the exuberant aromas of the Goldmuskateller and the delicate structure of the Scheurebe combine to create a fresh, light wine with a pleasant fizz. Just like the SCHEU, the FRESCH also features a label by the Worms-based street artist BUJA. Looks good, tastes even better.
In the glass, the colour is a clear pale yellow, with a fine, lively effervescence that immediately exudes freshness. The nose is subtle and slightly green in character, with that delicate hint of blackcurrant recognised from the SCHEU range. On the palate, the wine is delicate and elegant, with a pleasant, light sweetness that is beautifully balanced by the lively freshness of the effervescence.
The FRESCH is the perfect wine for warm days and carefree summer evenings. It pairs excellently with fish, seafood and light summer dishes, but also goes down a treat with a plate of sushi or a fresh salad. Or simply on its own, nice and chilled, as a refreshing thirst-quencher on the terrace.
