The Harsberg Traminer 2021 Trocken is a crisp, persistent, fruity white wine made from 100% Traminer.
The 2021 Harsberg Traminer dry is a refined white wine with delicate balance and rich aromas. In the glass, it exudes a light golden yellow color with medium viscosity. The aroma is characterized by lush rose aromas, which is typical of the Traminer grape. On the palate, you experience a corky texture with notes of honeydew melon and spices, complemented by light ginger and subtle floral accents. The fine tannins give the wine a long-lasting presence on the palate and create a complex, elegant finish.
Sourced from the Untersteinbacher Harsberg, this wine is fully aged in stainless steel vats. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, it offers drinking pleasure until 2028 and is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 6 to 8°C.
The 2021 vintage brought significant challenges. Late spring frosts, a summer with little sun and above-average rainfall made it a very demanding season. The vineyards were under high pressure from fungal diseases and abundant foliage growth. Through intensive handwork and detailed care in the vineyard, a highly selective manual harvest was achieved, resulting in a wine of exceptional quality. This makes 2021 a typical “cool climate vintage”, distinguished by its freshness and complexity.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
