The Rosato IGT Marche is a rosé made from 100% Montepulciano that is perfect as an aperitif or with seafood, charcuterie and pizza. To some extent, the wine is a tribute from Luca Cimarelli to the pink part of his winery; his mother and sisters. They are an integral part of the part, not only through their diligent work at the forefront but also as a driving force and connector within all facets of the winery. The wine is made from a selection of grapes harvested earlier to preserve acidity and freshness. The wine is destemmed and kept in contact with the skin for 12 hours to extract the right degree of aroma and colour from it. The grapes are then cold-pressed after which fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The wine has a pale ruby red colour with pink reflections. On the nose, the wine gives hints of rose petals and cherries and pomegranate. The palate is fresh and soft with balanced structure.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
