The Meister:Werk Merlot Rotwein Trocken is a robust and elegant red wine that impresses with its powerful character and refined balance. In the glass, it presents itself with a deep dark red colour and violet reflections. The aroma profile is dominated by intense aromas of blackcurrant, subtly enveloped by the freshness of sour cherries.
On the palate, this Merlot shows its full and firm structure. The tannins are nicely rounded and harmoniously integrated, providing a silky texture and a lingering flavour experience. The wine is powerful but remains accessible, making it a versatile and enjoyable companion.
This wine comes out perfectly with aromatic meat dishes such as game and lamb. It also makes an excellent match with gratins or spicy cheeses. With an alcohol content of 13.5% and a nice balance between residual sweetness (5.5 g/l) and acidity (4.8 g/l), the Meister:Werk Merlot offers an expressive and layered wine experience, ideally served at 16 to 18 °C.
