This special white wine from Weingut Dopler is made from the rare Neuburger grape, a native variety that has its home in Austria's Thermenregion. It is a grape that was in danger of being forgotten, but is deliberately given a leading role at Dopler thanks to its elegant character and distinct aroma profile. The wine is vinified completely dry and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, natural expression.
In the glass, this Neuburger presents itself with a bright straw yellow colour. The bouquet is refined and delicate, with aromas of ripe yellow apple, peach, almond and a hint of white flowers. On the tongue, it shows mouth-filling and harmonious, with a soft texture, elegant acidity and subtle nutty undertones typical of the grape. The wine develops beautifully in the glass and finishes with a long, balanced finish.
