The Polvaro Gold IGP Trevenezie is an elegant and aromatic white wine that beautifully expresses the character of eastern Veneto. This cuvée is composed of 55% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Bianco and 15% Traminer, from the historic Lison Classico wine region. The vineyards lie on well-draining clay-limestone soils and benefit from a mild climate thanks to the shelter of the Dolomites and the cooling influence of the Adriatic Sea. Limited yields ensure high-quality grapes and a refined expression of the terroir.
To preserve aromatic intensity, the grapes first undergo a short cryomaceration at low temperature, followed by gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is then aged for four months in stainless steel tanks with regular bâtonnage, which adds extra structure and complexity. In the glass, the wine shows a bright straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The bouquet opens with aromas of yellow apple, peach, citrus, rose petals, lychee and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, it presents itself fresh, aromatic and harmonious, with a nice balance between fruitiness and minerality and a long, refined finish.
This versatile white wine is an excellent companion to seafood, fish dishes, pasta, salmon and sushi. Its elegant style, fresh character and aromatic richness make it suitable both as an aperitif and with refined meals. A modern expression of Veneto in which tradition, sustainability and craftsmanship come together.
