The ‘PRS’ Toscana IGT is a refined white wine made entirely from the Malvasia Lunga grape. This wine is perfect as a refreshing aperitif on warm days, but also pairs beautifully with a light salad or a delicate fish dish. The wine has a pale golden-yellow color with green reflections, visually emphasizing its freshness.
On the nose, subtle aromas of citrus fruits and exotic fruits emerge, giving the wine a fruity and refreshing impression. The freshness of the wine is beautifully complemented by a particularly oily texture, which is unusual for this grape variety and adds an extra dimension to the wine. This texture provides a pleasant, full-mouth experience that makes the wine unique.
The grapes for this wine are harvested mid-season, followed by a short maceration with the skins. After 12 hours, the juice is placed in cement tanks to mature for 4 months with frequent batonnage, which gives the wine extra complexity. After this period, the wine matures for another 4 months in the bottle before it goes on sale, resulting in a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
