The Spätburgunder Rosé trocken from Weingut Marx is a rosé wine from the Saarland region, Mosel in Germany, made from the Blauer Spätburgunder grape. With an alcohol content of 11.5% vol. and coming from the 2023 vintage, this wine falls into the German quality wine category from the Mosel region.
This rosé has a dry taste and offers a fresh, fruity flavour profile with aromas of red fruits. The wine is aged in a stainless steel tank and produced using conventional methods. The grapes grow on soils of Muschel limestone, which contributes to the wine's delicate minerality.
It is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature of 6-8°C. The Spätburgunder Rosé trocken is an excellent choice as an accompaniment to poultry, various fish dishes such as salmon, and Mediterranean dishes with tomato.
