The Sylvaner Tradition 2024 from Alsace is a wine that charms with its simplicity and purity. This style is known for its direct and uncomplicated character: fresh, light and very accessible. In the glass, it displays a bright pale yellow colour with silver reflections, while the nose opens with fresh aromas of white fruit and subtle mineral notes.
The grapes were harvested on 3 November 2024 and then gently pneumatically pressed to preserve the quality of the fruit. During fermentation, the temperature is carefully controlled so that the fresh and fruity style of the wine comes into its own. The wine then matures on the fine lees for about nine months, which gives it extra roundness and a soft texture without losing its lively character.
Fresh aromas of white fruit and minerality appear on the nose. On the palate, the wine starts off soft and supple, followed by refreshing acidity and a light minerality that provide balance and tension. The structure remains elegant and fluid, with a fresh and clean finish. This makes this Sylvaner a versatile wine that pairs well with light dishes and summer meals.
