Weingut Höfling is located in the quiet village of Leisten, northwest of Würzburg - no bustling centre, but for that very reason a place where wines with character are quietly worked on. Although the wine cellar dates back to 1559, the winery itself has only been active since the 1980s. For Klaus Höfling, who took over the family business in 2007, it is not about tradition for tradition's sake, but making honest, contemporary wines that reflect their origins and bring people joy. His approach is focused on the here and now, and maybe even a little bit on the future.
