The Torrette Rosso – Vallée d'Aoste DOC from Maison D&D is a harmonious and elegant red wine that reflects the true soul of the Valle d'Aosta. This characterful blend of Petit Rouge, Fumin, and Cornalin brings together the power of the mountain grapes in a refined, balanced composition. The vines are cultivated on steep slopes according to the Guyot system, and the grapes are carefully harvested by hand in mid-October to maintain their optimal ripeness.
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and macerated on the skins at a controlled temperature with daily reassembly, which imparts color, aroma, and structure. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, preserving its freshness and natural expression. In the glass, it reveals a ruby red color that tends toward garnet with age. The bouquet is refined and floral, with notes of wild rose, violet, and subtle hints of forest fruits. On the palate, it is dry, elegant, and harmonious, with a supple texture and a balanced finish.
