The '100 Cases' Blaufränkisch 2017 BIO is a rare and characterful wine from Weingut Fischer, with an edition of only 600 bottles. Made from 100% Blaufränkisch grapes from organically grown vineyards with 11-year-old vines, this wine shows beautifully bright and concentrated in the glass.
After a careful manual harvest, the wine matured for no less than 28 months in used French barriques. This long barrel aging gives the wine a refined structure and allows the grape to fully come into its own. On the palate, it is powerful, with ripe, dark fruit notes and fine spiciness, but at the same time retains remarkable elegance and balance. The finish is long, refined and leaves a deep impression.
Serve this unique Blaufränkisch preferably at 18°C. It is a wine for special moments - intense and complex, yet accessible. A true collector's item for lovers of top Austrian wines with an organic signature.
