The Capriano del Colle DOC Rosso Riserva is a refined red wine from the heart of Lombardy, carefully created by San Michele, a leading winery dedicated to the preservation and development of the unique Monte Netto wine region. Thanks to careful selection of grapes and thoughtful assemblages, this wine has achieved perfect balance and elegance. The blend of Merlot (50%), Marzemino (40%) and Sangiovese (10%) creates a full, layered flavor experience.
This Riserva is produced with the utmost care, with the grapes macerating for 20 days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. The wine then matures for 12 months in French oak tonneaux, before further developing in bottle for another 12 months. The result is an intense wine with subtle balsamic notes, which combine beautifully with fruity aromas and a refined finish.
The Capriano del Colle DOC Rosso Riserva is best enjoyed with red meat dishes, roasted meat dishes and aged cheeses. Serve this wine at a temperature between 16 and 18°C to best experience its full aromas and balanced structure. An excellent choice for lovers of elegant and characterful red wines.
