The 2015 'M' Vino Rosso Dolce Lombardia is a unique and refined wine that reflects the rich tradition of Monte Netto. A pioneer in appreciating this particular wine region, San Michele has dedicated itself to creating elegant and perfectly balanced wines. Made from 100% Marzemino, this red dessert wine is created through a careful production process in which the grapes spend four months drying in cases. This creates an intense concentration of aromas and flavors, creating a wine that is both velvety and powerful.
After controlled fermentation with maceration for about 20 days, the wine matures for six months in French oak tonneaux and barriques, followed by another 12 months of bottle aging. The result is a wine with multiple layers of aroma and flavor, in which notes of ripe fruit blend harmoniously with subtle wood tones. The silky texture and lively freshness make this wine particularly balanced and expressive.
This 'M' Vino Rosso Dolce is a real meditation wine and is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 14° - 16°C. It makes a perfect match with dark chocolate, mature cheeses and rich red fruit-based desserts.
