Weingut Valentin Oppenauer's Blauburger is a powerful and characterful red wine from Austria's Weinviertel region. This organically produced wine combines deep fruit aromas with a solid structure and perfectly reflects the winery's natural working methods.
In the glass, the wine shows an intense dark colour. The nose is characterised by ripe forest fruits and spicy nuances. On the palate, it presents itself full and powerful, with ripe tannins and a nice balance between fruit, structure and freshness. Thanks to spontaneous fermentation and maturation in large wooden barrels, the wine retains its pure character and authentic style.
This dry red wine is an excellent companion to grilled meat, game dishes and savoury cheeses. An expressive Austrian red wine with depth, elegance and organic finesse.
