The Chardonnay Classic BIO DAC Thermenregion 2022 from Weingut Fischer is a refreshing and sophisticated white wine, made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from 35-year-old vines. The grapes are fermented after harvest and aged in stainless steel tanks, resulting in a pure, fruity style with a lively character.
In the glass, this organic Chardonnay shows a bright light lemon yellow colour. In the nose, subtle aromas of grapefruit, ripe peach and a hint of lemongrass emerge. On the palate, the wine is juicy, with an elegant texture and seductive notes of stone fruit. The fresh acids provide a lively, thirst-quenching finish.
This Chardonnay is a versatile companion at the table. It pairs excellently with grilled chicken, creamy pasta dishes, quiches or soft cheeses. It also goes nicely with vegetarian dishes with courgettes or leeks. Serve chilled, around 12°C, for the best experience of its freshness and aromas.
