Poggio al Bosco's Chianti DOCG is an organic red wine that captures the pure soul of Tuscany. This wine is still made according to the original recipe used by the family's grandparents more than 60 years ago - a tribute to tradition, simplicity and craftsmanship. The blend consists of Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo and small amounts of Trebbiano and Malvasia Bianca, just as the ancestors did. The wine matures exclusively in concrete vats, a deliberate choice to preserve its authentic character and purely express the flavours of the terroir. In the glass, it shows a vibrant ruby colour, symbolic of its youthful energy and deep roots in the Chianti hills.
The aroma is refined and inviting, with notes of ripe red fruits, cherries and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is perfectly balanced: fresh, elegant and with a pleasing structure that leaves a long finish. The Chianti DOCG reflects not only the quality of the grapes, but also the respect for nature and the generations of winemakers who have passed on their knowledge. The labels of this wine carry a personal meaning - they show the parish church of San Pietro in Bossolo, an important symbol of community and tradition for the Poggio al Bosco family.
