The Crepuscolo IGT Toscana is an organic red wine that reflects the authentic soul of Tuscany. The name Crepuscolo - Italian for twilight - refers to the moment when this wine reveals its true character: warm, profound and elegant. Made from three indigenous grape varieties - Colorino, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera - this wine is a tribute to the time before the arrival of international grapes in Tuscany. The Poggio al Bosco family deliberately chose this traditional composition to show how purity and heritage together can produce a wine of extraordinary finesse.
After fermentation, the wine matures partly in wood and partly in concrete vats, retaining its natural structure while gaining softness. In the glass, the Crepuscolo shows a deep ruby colour with purple hues. The nose is seductive and intense, with aromas of ripe berries, sweet spices and a subtle inky nuance that adds complexity. On the palate, it is full and harmonious, with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish reminiscent of a late summer evening.
The Crepuscolo IGT Toscana is ideal for intimate moments, such as an aperitif at sunset or a relaxed dinner for two. It pairs beautifully with a selection of cheeses, truffle dishes or sophisticated red meat or game-based main courses.
