Dame 2022 is a complex, characterful sparkling wine that shows how beautifully the limestone soils of South Limburg can speak. The Chardonnay grapes come from Holset, Voerendaal and Klimmen, where sustainable vineyard work and hand harvesting ensure healthy, perfectly ripe fruit. Vinification takes place in Lemiers, starting with gentle whole-bunch pressing to preserve purity and finesse. The base wines mature partly in stainless steel, partly in French oak and partly in ceramic, adding depth and layers without compromising freshness.
In the glass, Dame 2022 opens with aromas of spring blossom and citrus, lifted by a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is elegant yet expressive, supported by vibrant acidity that brings tension and length. Full malolactic fermentation adds roundness, while 30 months on the lees build texture and complexity. As a brut nature, with no dosage, the style remains pure, dry and precise, finishing fresh and focused.
At the table, Dame 2022 pairs beautifully with refined fish dishes, shellfish and light starters, while also harmonising with creamy cheeses or shining as an elegant aperitif. Served well chilled, it reveals its layered character and stays lively and precise to the last sip.
