Product description
This Dolcetto features an intense ruby red color with purple hues. It has a fragrant and fruity aroma, with a dry taste pleasantly marked by a subtle bitter almond finish that stimulates the palate. Aromatic features such as geraniol make it enjoyable while young, though it also has the potential for medium aging.
The wine pairs wonderfully with meat-filled dishes such as ravioli and is excellent with soft and medium-aged cheeses, as well as a variety of starters. When young, it is a great match for "bagna cauda," a traditional Piedmontese dish.
The Dolcetto comes from the Diano d'Alba region, known for its unique terroir. The vineyard yield is 80q/ha, and the wine has an alcohol content of 11% vol (12% vol for the "superior" version). The wine undergoes at least one year of aging outside of wood.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
