The Ensemble is a special wine born of an exceptionally difficult vintage. In 2024, the region around Montaldo Bormida, in the heart of Piedmont, was hit by an unprecedented epidemic of downy mildew. The impact on the vineyards was immense, and only through cooperation and solidarity among befriended winemakers were the remaining, healthy grapes still able to find their way to the cellar. This collective effort lies at the heart of Ensemble - a wine that not only reflects craftsmanship, but also celebrates resilience, loyalty to the land and collective strength.
Dolcetto and Barbera grapes from the 2023 and 2024 harvests were used for this cuvée. The result is a red wine with a pleasantly firm yet inviting character. In the glass, Ensemble presents itself with a full and harmonious body, ideal for pairing with a full meal. The wine is best enjoyed at a serving temperature between 18 and 20°C. Thanks to an extremely low amount of total sulfite (only 9 mg/l, created during spontaneous fermentation), the wine remains pure and natural in expression. Ensemble is thus not just a wine, but a story of perseverance and collaboration in the vineyard.
