Product description
The Esker Sekt Cuvée is a refined sparkling wine from Twente, made with the same care and method as a classic champagne. Made from the traditional champagne grapes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, supplemented by Riesling, this sekt is produced according to the méthode traditionnelle: the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, followed by an 18-month maturation sur lie. This creates a refined mousse, a layered character and impressive complexity.
In the glass, the wine shows bright and lively, with fresh aromas of citrus and green apple, subtly complemented by elegant brioche notes. The palate is dry and fresh-fruited, with a nice balance between purity and depth. It makes this sect not only festive as an aperitif, but also particularly suitable with light dishes or refined appetisers.
With an alcohol content of 12% and a volume of 0.75 litres, this sekt is best served at a serving temperature between 6 and 10 degrees. The quality of this Dutch bubbly was awarded a silver medal at the Wine Competition of the Low Countries in 2024 - a recognition that shows that the Twente soil produces champagne-worthy class.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
