Miali's Falanghina from their Single Vineyard series is a fresh and refined white wine from chalky clay soil at 380 to 400 metres altitude in the Valle d'Itria. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second to third week of September, followed by cryomaceration, followed by gentle pressing and ageing in stone tanks. This process highlights the freshness and purity of the final product.
In the glass, this Falanghina presents itself bright straw yellow with green reflections. In the nose, aromas of white flowers and peach dominate, which translate on the palate into a fine, fresh wine with a bright structure and long finish. Thanks to its harmonious character and lively acidity, this wine is perfectly suited as an aperitif, but also comes into its own with fish dishes, light soups and seafood.
