This Barbera d’Asti 2019 by Motta Alessandro is a vibrant and authentic expression of Piedmont. Grown on clay-rich soils and vinified using traditional methods, the wine highlights the natural freshness and fruit-driven character that Barbera is known for. Hand-harvested grapes ensure purity and balance in the final wine.
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color with violet hues. The nose offers aromas of sour cherries, ripe red berries and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is lively and smooth, with refreshing acidity, soft tannins and a juicy, elegant finish. A versatile and approachable Barbera with plenty of personality.
Excellent with pasta dishes, tomato-based sauces, pizza, grilled meats, cured meats, mushroom dishes and semi-hard cheeses. A natural match for classic Italian cuisine.
