The 'Vigna Di Giulio' Chardonnay Riserva is a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay that can ideally be drunk with fish dishes or younger cheeses.
The wine has a golden yellow colour with light green reflections. On the nose, it is an intense wine with clear wood-aged hints of vanilla coming to the fore. Mineral notes and vegetal and floral notes are also evident. On the palate, it is a distinct but balanced wine with recognisable flavours like pear and peach. The wine is well fresh with a slight buttery sensation as recognisable for wood-aged chardonnays. The wine was aged in oak barriques for 3 months before being bottled. The wine has an alcohol content of 13% and should be drunk at 8Ā°C.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
