Orvieto Classico Superiore DOC is an elegant white wine made from Grechetto, Malvasia, Procanico, Rupeccio, and Verdello grapes. Its expressive aromas and refreshing character make it an excellent and unexpected match for spicy dishes. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, where the vines grow in limestone-rich soils. The vines are trained using the Guyot method, and the grapes are hand-harvested during the final weeks of September. Only 4,500 bottles of this distinctive wine are produced each year.
In the glass, the wine displays an intense straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose reveals fruity aromas of elderflower, peach, and pineapple. On the palate, it is rounded and balanced, with a pleasant acidity that brings freshness and harmony. Its smooth texture and persistent finish make this Orvieto an elegant and versatile white wine.
