12 and 13 December: the ONWINE Winemakers’ Festival. Winemakers from all ONWINE countries are coming to the Netherlands to let you taste their best wines.
Weingut Marx's Elbling Classic, from the Saarland region, Mosel in Germany, is a top choice for lovers of fresh and light wines. Made from the Elbling grape, this 2022 wine offers an alcohol content of 10.5% vol. and falls into the category of quality German wine from the Mosel region.
The wine is semi-dry in taste and has a bright, refreshing character with subtle aromas of citrus and green apple.
The wine is aged in a stainless steel tank and is produced using conventional methods. The grapes grow on soils of shell limestone, which contributes to the wine's unique minerality. Best served at 6-8°C, this wine is an excellent accompaniment to light dishes or as a refreshing drink in between.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
