Elena Catalano's Aglianico del Taburno Rosato DOCG is an elegant and refined rosé made from 100% Aglianico, sourced from carefully tended vineyards on the slopes of Monte Pino in Benevento. The grapes are harvested between late September and early October and gently pressed with protection from oxidation, after which fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. This careful vinification produces a wine that perfectly retains its freshness, purity and fruity character.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright pink hue with cherry reflections. The aroma is lively and refined, with notes of red berries, cherries and flowers, which become softer and more complex after some aging. The palate is fresh, balanced and harmonious, with a fine texture and a long, aromatic finish that highlights the wine's youthful energy.
The Aglianico del Taburno Rosato DOCG is a versatile wine that goes well with light dishes of Campanian cuisine, such as pasta with seafood, fresh salads and white meat.
