Cremovo is one of Sicily’s classic, time-honoured flavours. A variation built on the foundation of Marsala wine, it has been used in Sicilian kitchens for generations: for zabaione, for creams, for tiramisù. But it is equally a pleasure in its own right. Arini Vini crafts it in the tradition of the Marsala territory, with a minimum of four months of wood ageing for the base wine. That maturation gives it its deep amber colour and its aromatic complexity.
In the glass it shows a dark, richly amber hue. The nose is aromatic and inviting. On the palate it is pronouncedly sweet with a clear, characteristic egg flavour: velvety, full-bodied, and warming. With 250 g/L residual sugar and 16% alcohol, this is a wine with energy and character that fully embraces the Sicilian tradition of rich, sweet flavours.
Its versatility makes it exceptional: it is excellent as a dessert wine on its own, but shines above all in the kitchen. Indispensable for an authentic zabaione, perfect in creams and pastries, and the classic base for a genuine Italian tiramisù. Serve chilled at 12 to 14 degrees.
