Weingut Beth's Riesling Auslese Lieblich 2023 is a rich and refined Prädikatswein from the renowned Kinheimer Hubertuslay vineyard. Here, steep slopes and slate soils provide grapes with high aromatic concentration and natural sweetness. Selective harvesting of fully ripe bunches creates an Auslese with impressive depth, while the low alcohol content of just 8 per cent keeps the wine light and elegant.
On the nose, this Auslese shows a lush and expressive aroma profile with notes of ripe mango, pineapple, peach and honey, complemented by a subtle mineral undertone. Unlike simpler liebliche wines, this aroma is layered and intense, with an almost exotic richness that directly reflects the quality of the Auslese classification. The sweetness is evident, but never dominant, thanks to the fresh Moselle structure.
On the tongue, the wine is full and velvety, with a concentrated fruit flavour beautifully carried by lively, refreshing acidity. The balance between sweetness and tension makes this Riesling Auslese both luxurious and refined. It is ideal as a dessert wine, with fruity desserts, blue cheese or spicy Asian dishes, but also brilliant as a meditative wine to enjoy purely. A classic Moselle Auslese with great elegance, length and storage potential.
