Product description
Weingut Beth's Grauschiefer Riesling Trocken 2022 comes from the steep, slate-rich slopes around Kinheim on the Central Moselle. The wine owes its name as well as its character to the typical grey slate soils that give the grapes a distinctive minerality, freshness and tension. This Riesling is a quality wine with a distinct regional signature, carefully vinified by a family that has diligently managed vineyards along the Moselle for 250 years.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright, pale yellow colour. In the nose, fresh aromas of citrus fruits dominate, especially lemon, lime and ripe apricot. These fruity notes are supported by a subtle mineral touch typical of slate terroir. The balance between delicate fruit candy and lively acidity creates an expressive and elegant aromatic profile that invites the first sip.
On the tongue, the Grauschiefer Riesling presents itself dry, tight and fresh, with a nice tension between fruit, clean minerality and subtle fruit sweetness. The fresh acidity keeps the wine energetic and makes it particularly suitable as an accompaniment to light dishes such as fish, fresh salads, poultry or regional specialities. It is a versatile, modern Mosel-Riesling with finesse, clarity and a persistently refreshing finish.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
