Hof Breitenstein's Grauer Burgunder Mild 2022 from the Nahe is a wine that charms with its soft and accessible character. In the glass, it shows a bright golden yellow colour and an inviting aroma that immediately gives a sense of roundness and ripe fruit. In the nose, aromas of ripe pear, apple and soft stone fruit unfold, complemented by a slight spiciness. Grauer Burgunder - known internationally as Pinot Gris - is known for its full-bodied texture and fruity richness. In this milder style, that character comes out beautifully, with the slight residual sweetness accentuating the fruit and providing a pleasing softness.
