Hof Breitenstein's Konstantin 2022 from the Nahe region is a special Riesling with a personal story. The wine bears a name rather than a classic grape name, but in the glass the typical elegance of Riesling speaks immediately. It shines with a bright pale yellow colour and a lively appearance that already announces the wine's freshness.
On the nose, the wine opens with expressive aromas of citrus, ripe apple and peach, complemented by subtle floral notes and a fine minerality. The Nahe is known for its mineral-rich soils, and that character is also evident here. The wine combines ripe fruit with tension and freshness, creating a nice aromatic layering.
On the palate, the wine is lively and elegant, with fresh acidity that remains perfectly balanced with the ripe fruit. The structure is clean and refined, with a long, fresh finish in which citrus and minerality linger for a long time.
