Domaine Brun Avril's Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc 2024 is a refined and fresh white wine that elegantly reflects the terroir of the southern Rhône. Sourced from chalky soils with a mineral base, the grapes develop beautiful tension and aromatic intensity. The combination of sun, wind and old vines creates a wine with both freshness and depth.
This cuvée is a harmonious blend of 30% Grenache Blanc, 25% Roussanne, 25% Marsanne and 20% Clairette, with each grape adding its own character. Vinification is done with great precision: a five-week slow fermentation at low temperature in a combination of barrels, amphorae and stainless steel, using indigenous yeasts. The wine then matures partly in amphora and partly in large oak barrels (demi-muids), adding complexity without losing freshness.
In the glass, the wine opens with a delicate nose of soft spices, vanilla and fresh accents of mint and lime. On the palate, it is lively and pure, with nice aromatic intensity and subtle exotic notes that add depth to the wine. An elegant, versatile white Rhone with both freshness and structure.
