Domaine Brun Avril's Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2022 is a refined and characterful white wine from a unique vineyard just outside the village. Located in the lieu-dit Les Bourguignons, this site benefits from a cooler microclimate and calcareous sandy soils, providing exceptional freshness and minerality within the appellation.
The blend consists of 50% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 20% Roussanne and 10% Bourboulenc, from vines planted in 1989. After a careful manual harvest, the grapes are immediately pressed and vinified in concrete tanks, complemented by partial maturation in oak barrels. This combination creates a nice balance of purity, structure and subtle complexity.
In the glass, the wine presents itself elegant and refined, with a fresh and mineral style typical of this particular terroir. The cool influences add tension and finesse, while the ageing adds a slight roundness. An exceptional and gourmet white Châteauneuf-du-Pape with depth and precision.
