Nastallai is a pure and balanced expression of Cannonau di Sardegna from the terroir of Dorgali. The wine is vinified in wooden tronco-conical barrels, providing extra structure and aromatic depth, followed by aging in stainless steel to maintain freshness and precision. This combination of wood and stainless steel results in a wine that is both traditional and refinedly modern.
In the glass, Nastallai shows a deep garnet red colour with vibrant ruby reflections. The aromatic profile is intense and complex, with notes of ripe red fruit, spicy accents and subtle earthy nuances reflecting the terroir. The nose is open and inviting, with a nice balance between power and finesse.
On the palate, the wine is full and harmonious, with a pronounced balance between ripe fruit, spice and fresh acidity. The structure is supple but present, and the finish is long and elegant. A Cannonau that is both immediately accessible and gourmet.
