Villa Ticca Rosso is a characterful blend from Sardinia that harmoniously blends local grapes with international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malvasia Nera. Reflecting the versatility of Dorgali's terroir, this Isola dei Nuraghi IGT combines Mediterranean strength with elegance.
Vinification starts with slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is aged in traditional cocciopesto barrels for a minimum of 18 months. This long ageing ensures integration of the grapes and gives the wine its depth and complexity.
In the glass, Villa Ticca presents itself with a deep garnet-red colour. The nose offers ripe red and black fruits, complemented by spicy notes. On the palate, it is full and round, with soft tannins and a long, persistent finish. A rich but accessible wine with clear structure.
