Antas Garnacha Rosé from Bodega Sierra Almagrera is an expressive and elegant rosé from the high altitude vineyards of Antas, 400 metres above sea level. The warm Mediterranean climate, combined with cool influences, creates a wine with ripe fruit as well as fresh tension.
The 100% Garnacha grapes are carefully harvested by hand and double-selected. A short cold peeling is followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 16-17°C. The wine then ages for two months on the lie, which gives it extra roundness and aromatic depth.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright rosé colour with a slight red tinge. The nose is intense and fruit-driven, with aromas of tropical fruits and fresh red fruits. On the palate, it is rich and round, supported by lively acids that provide balance and freshness, with a long, fruity finish.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
