Product description
The '20,000 BC' Rot Cuvée from Bischoffinger Winzer is a powerful and characterful red wine that reflects the primal power of the Kaiserstuhl. This special cuvée of Spätburgunder, Merlot and various Cabernet varieties combines intense fruit with spiciness and subtle wood influences.
In the nose, aromas of dark berries, fine spices and elegant wood tones unfold. Partial ageing in large wooden barrels gives the wine extra depth and a round structure. On the palate, it shows full and powerful, with ripe fruit, soft tannins and a warm, aromatic finish. The wine's character refers to the mammoths that once roamed the Kaiserstuhl, symbolising strength and history.
This red cuvée is an excellent companion to lamb, beef, game dishes, hearty pastas and mature cheeses. An expressive wine for lovers of full-bodied and spicy red blends.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
