Product description
The Weinviertel DAC Klassik 2025 from Weingut Pleil is a textbook example of a classic Grüner Veltliner from the Weinviertel region. This fresh and elegant white wine perfectly reflects the character of the region, where Grüner Veltliner has been the main grape variety for generations. The wine combines ripe fruit with the typical spiciness and lively freshness for which Weinviertel DAC is known worldwide.
In the nose, the wine opens with aromas of ripe apple, fresh citrus and the distinctive white pepper note of Grüner Veltliner. On the palate, it shows itself juicy, harmonious and refined, with a nice balance of fruitiness, spiciness and lively acidity. The loess soils from several vineyards give the wine a soft structure and elegant minerality, while the cool fermentation on stainless steel ensures maximum freshness and purity.
This classic Grüner Veltliner is particularly versatile at the table and pairs excellently with light meat dishes, fish, seafood and fresh Austrian dishes. Its lively and accessible character also comes into its own beautifully as an aperitif. A refined and authentic Weinviertel DAC full of freshness, elegance and drinking pleasure.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
