Product description
The Weinviertel DAC Ried Sonnleiten 2025 from Weingut Pleil is a refined Grüner Veltliner from the characterful Ried Sonnleiten vineyard in the Weinviertel. This wine combines elegance, freshness and spiciness with a subtle exotic touch, making it feel both typically Austrian and surprisingly modern. Thanks to loess-loam soils with gravel and sand, the wine develops a nice balance between fruit, minerality and finesse.
In the nose, the wine opens with delicate spicy aromas, fresh orange zest and subtle notes of apple and fig. On the palate, it shows juicy and elegant, with a harmonious structure and lively freshness. The delicate fruitiness is supported by refined spiciness and a slightly exotic touch of maracuja on the finish. The wine remains nicely balanced, combining roundness with typical Grüner Veltliner tension.
This Grüner Veltliner is particularly versatile at the table and pairs excellently with light meat dishes, pastas, rice dishes and refined Austrian cuisine. Its fresh and elegant character also comes into its own beautifully as an aperitif. A modern Weinviertel DAC with finesse, juiciness and refined spiciness.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
