Cascina Giovinale's Radiosa Rosato is an elegant rosé wine made from 100% Barbera, from the hills of Nizza Monferrato in Piedmont. The vineyards are situated on calcareous and sandy soils with a favourable south-east exposure, creating grapes with beautiful aromatic expression and fresh acidity. This rosé combines the vibrancy of Barbera with a refined and accessible style.
The grapes are harvested in autumn and carefully chilled before being gently pressed. To preserve the wine's freshness and finesse, there is virtually no skin contact, allowing only subtle extraction of colour and tannins. Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is further aged on tank. In the glass, Radiosa presents itself with a bright, intense pink colour. The nose opens with aromas of fresh red fruit and delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine is fresh, supple and balanced, with pleasant acidity and an elegant finish.
This rosé is a versatile companion to light meals, salads, grilled vegetables and summer dishes. Its fresh and fruity character also comes into its own as an aperitif. A refined Piedmont rosé that effortlessly brings together elegance, freshness and drinking pleasure.
