The name Edenrose is not a marketing choice but a feeling. It refers to the Garden of Eden on earth that is Tenuta La Tenaglia: a place where human spirituality and the spirituality of nature converge, high above the mist of the Monferrato. It is the wine of the estate’s owner, Sabine Ehrmann, herself – a personal creation imbued with a sense of beauty and flavour.
Edenrose is made from Barbera and Pinot Noir, cold-macerated for 12 hours and then gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, followed by a few months’ bottle ageing. In the glass, it is light and bright pink. The nose offers violets, roses, cherries and strawberries. On the palate, it is lively, fresh and well-balanced with a lingering fruity finish.
Delicious with starters, fish and white meat. Also an excellent aperitif. Serve chilled at 8–10°C.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
