Insider - Dornfelder Trocken is a wine that does not immediately reveal everything, but rather invites to be discovered. In the glass, it shows itself deep dark red with black-violet reflections, as if it already wants to show something of its power. Coming from the heart of the Moselle, this Dornfelder reflects the quiet assurance of old vineyards and patient craftsmanship. Not a showy wine, but one with character and confidence.
In the nose, intense aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherries and elderberry open up, complemented by subtle spicy notes. On the tongue, it is dry and supple at the same time, with a nice balance between fruit, soft structure and a slight spiciness. The wine feels round and harmonious, with sufficient depth without becoming heavy. The finish is fruit-driven and pleasantly long, easily inviting a second glass.
Insider is a versatile red wine that feels at home at the table. It pairs excellently with grilled meat, game dishes, stews or a pizza with rich toppings, but also does surprisingly well with hard cheeses. An accessible but serious Dornfelder, made for moments when you just want to enjoy a good glass of red wine, without fuss but with conviction.
