Ligagna' Granaccia DOC Riviera Ligure di Ponente is an elegant red wine that originates on the hills of Liguria, at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level. The wine is made entirely from the granaccia grape, a variety that is among the most widely planted worldwide, but has a particularly refined and characterful expression in Liguria.
The wine presents itself in the glass with a ruby red colour and reveals warm, inviting aromas of ripe red fruit and subtle violets in the nose. On the palate, it is soft and supple, with a velvety structure and a harmonious, round finish. Vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel tanks, ensuring a pure and fresh display of the grape variety without the influence of wood.
Ligagna is an excellent accompaniment to meat dishes. Especially when paired with game, such as rabbit or hare, its warm and fruity character comes into its own. Served at 18 to 20 degrees, this granaccia shows its full potential and embodies the finesse of Riviera Ligure di Ponente in every sip.
