Bianco Etichetta Nera 2023 is an exclusive and characterful white wine from a single plot in Briona, Novara, situated at an altitude of 280 meters. This exceptional expression of Erbaluce is derived from clay-rich soils and meticulous vineyard management. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates during the first ten days of September to preserve their freshness and aromatic precision.
In the cellar, the grapes are immediately destemmed and gently pressed, after which alcoholic fermentation and aging take place in used barriques. The wine ages on the fine lees for a year, with regular bâtonnage, which provides extra depth, texture, and complexity. Production is extremely limited to just 300 bottles, giving this wine an exclusive and artisanal character.
In the glass, the wine displays an intense golden yellow color. The aroma is round and seductive, with notes of mint and butter that blend beautifully. On the palate, it is full and structured, with a long, lingering finish that unfolds further with every sip; a wine that invites multiple tastings to discover new nuances each time.
This Erbaluce is best enjoyed with white meat in creamy sauces or with aged cheeses. Serve lightly chilled at 8–10 °C for an optimal balance between freshness and richness.
