Product description
This wine is made from 100% Petite Arvine, sourced from two high-altitude vineyard plots in Saint-Pierre covering 10,000 square metres. The plots are at 700 and 800 metres altitude and benefit from a south-easterly exposure, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally while maintaining freshness and aromatic precision. Harvesting takes place in late October and is done in small crates to best protect Petite Arvine's delicate aromas.
After arriving in the cellar, the grapes are pressed and a short two-day skin soaking follows to add extra expression. Fermentation is slow and temperature-controlled, with temperatures never exceeding 18 degrees. There is deliberately no malolactic fermentation to preserve natural acidity and tension. After several months of aging in stainless steel tanks, the wine is bottled in spring, followed by a brief bottle aging before it is released on the market in late spring.
In the glass, this Petite Arvine shows a light, bright yellow colour with a fruity and aromatic profile, supported by fresh acidity and a persistent finish. Served at 11 to 12 degrees, it comes into its own as an aperitif, but it also pairs excellently with fish dishes, light starters, white meat and cheeses. Thanks to its structure and freshness, this wine is also suitable for aging for another seven to eight years.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: β¬6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
