Weingut Fischer's Pinot Noir BIO is an elegant and characterful red wine made entirely from organically grown Pinot Noir grapes sourced from 33-year-old vines. The wine shines in the glass with a ruby red colour and a refined, deep nose that combines notes of wild fruit, spices and subtle wood influences. The aroma is reminiscent of wild berry jam, with a seductive touch of cinnamon adding to the complexity.
After a careful manual harvest, this Pinot Noir matures for no less than 30 months in French barriques. This long ageing process provides impressive depth, a silky texture and a full-bodied palate that stays true to the pure character of the grape. On the palate, the wine is refined but powerful, with a nice tension between fruit, spiciness and a long, harmonious finish.
