Product description
Riesling is Germany’s most characterful white grape, celebrated for its vivid acidity, its fruity breadth, and its ability to reflect every terroir it grows in. In Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine region, Riesling has a long and distinguished history. Burghof Oswald in Guntersblum shows this grape in its most accessible and joyful form: fresh, fruity, and sparkling.
The Riesling Sekt Trocken is dry in style, yet retains the typically fruity character of the grape. At 12.5% alcohol with a lively mousse, it is light on its feet and immediately enjoyable. The winemaking is focused on preserving the fresh, aromatic profile of the Riesling: green apple, citrus, a touch of white stone fruit, and the fine minerality for which the grape is so celebrated.
In the glass it shows clear, persistent bubbles and a bright, pale colour. The nose is inviting and direct: ripe apple, lime, a hint of peach. On the palate it is dry and lively, with a clean finish that calls for a second glass. Excellent as an aperitif, but equally at home alongside light starters, fish dishes, or mild cheeses. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
