Product description
This Riesling Spätlese 2024 from Weingut Gindorf is a classic and playful Moselle Riesling in its most seductive form. Originally created as a "happy accident" due to a late harvest, Spätlese today is known for its perfect balance of ripeness, natural sweetness and fresh acidity. This wine is made from 100% Riesling and ferments entirely in stainless steel tanks, keeping the pure fruit and lively freshness at the centre.
On the nose, the wine opens with clearly ripe fruit, with tropical notes of pineapple and mango immediately recognisable. On the palate, a pleasant, fruity sweetness first follows, after which the wine unfolds broadly and silky over the midpalate. Typical Moselle aromas of pineapple, mango and lychee are beautifully complemented by fresh citrus nuances. The acids are fine and precise, keeping the wine light, energetic and extremely drinkable despite its residual sweetness.
This Spätlese combines charm with elegance and effortlessly invites the next sip. Already wonderfully accessible, it also possesses excellent ageing potential. Served well chilled, this is an ideal wine for lovers of refined sweet Riesling, both solo and at the table with slightly spicy or fruity dishes.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
